Big Society lunch... sorry, launch

David Cameron launched his Big Society idea in Liverpool yesterday. I was going to write a blogpost about the true meaning of Big Society being "do something useful, just don't expect paying for it", but this, from Joe Robb on his blog "Brian Coleman (aka Mr Toad) has got to go!", is way funnier: PM launches 'The Big Pariah'.

Vicki: do you want to start a union for the women bloggers of Barnet? I see that we are invisible, as far as Dave Hill is concerned, when discussing the pulsating blogosphere in Barnet ... Not sure what we would be called though ...

Mrs Angry, I have been mulling how to remark upon that for a while now, without appearing peevish. I think if we wait patiently, the opportunity will arise to make our point with dignity. ("Revenge is a dish best served cold".)

P.S. You're right about a name, though, let's try to think of something.

Sod dignity: that went years ago ... I left a comment about boys' clubs ... hmmm, let me think about a suitable name ...

PS It's a bit like that Fast Show sketch with the invisible woman ...

You did right, I'm much too coy for my own good.

Hmm, what about FIBB: Female Invisible Bloggers of Barnet? No, not quite there.
