A tale of two BarnetsFilm-maker Charles Honderick presents his new film "A Tale of Two Barnets" at the Phoenix Cinema, East Finchley, on Monday 19 March. The film lasts 30 minutes but there will be a full programme including questions and answers with the director from 6-8pm, entry fee: £1 on the door.
Barnet, site of the famous workhouse from the story Oliver Twist. Two hundred years after the birth of Charles Dickens, how has the area changed and how has it stayed the same? The people of Barnet talk about their lives and their concerns in 2012.
