Imagine there's no NHS...

Imagine there's no National Health Service. Obviously, we only want you to imagine. It's not going to happen. But what if...? How much of it would we actually miss, if it went?

Ditto schools and universities. Policing. Public transport and infrastructure. Pensions, social services. Homes... Shave a bit off, here and there. 20%, 30%, 40% - the sky's the limit.

Obviously, it's just a hypothetical, but... Well, we can dream...

Sad bleat about UCLH but nothing new. It's typical of the NHS and all the other public services, full of flawed PC Dennetts who dunnos thy're donuts. Imagine a toilet seat it also has a hole in the middle, to let the donuts through or put another way life's waste.

Do yourself a favour mate, just get away from the Heims and Shipmans of that toilet Trust go to France where ther are no PC bullshit surgeons and staff parlez Anglaise better than the init's

Hm, a theme developing here. Some people that don't like the public services, and don't like "the people" staffing them, by which, it transpires, they mean people who aren't white and English.

Well, I do like the public services, I don't think they're a waste of money, and I don't care who treats me, cleans the floors, cooks the meals, etc, so long as they're competent and paid a decent wage.

Ditto! nor do I, but give credit where it's due

so long as they are competent
so long as they are competent
so long as they are competent

I complained they were not competent. I will add clinical competence to that. Have you come across a surgeon or clinician with any Principles?
